DT Phudu Font - Dafont Free

DT Phudu was designed by Duong Tran and draws its inspiration from Vietnamese billboards written with hand ink in the past. Compatible with multiple languages and providing variable font sizes; as Phudu becomes lighter its width expands, making it easier for readers to comprehend than narrow fonts.

Duong sought to design an easily legible and modern Vietnamese typeface which embodied the spirit of traditional Vietnamese designs for lettering found on billboards and stores during that period.

He combined letters from these styles and redesigned the fonts so they are more modern, while still remaining “Vietnamese”. He called this font Phudu which stands for revival from Vietnamese and is considered a classic character.
