Markazi Text Font

This work was informed by a typeface called Markazi, designed by Tim Holloway with his permission and encouragement, a co-venture between the University of Reading and Google led by Gerry Leonidas.

Here, Borna Izadpanah designed the Arabic characters with assistance from Fiona Ross; the Middle Eastern scripts incorporated here come with moderate contrast. They use Markazi font which is contemporary and unambiguous and has been designed to foster understanding.

There are four weights of font with this typeface that comes with extra language help that can be used for both screen and printed materials.
