Poly Font

Poly is a medium-contrast serif typeface. Due to the high x-height and short ascenders, Poly is suitable for the small sizes because of the appropriate ratio of the x-height to the widths of glyphs, which makes it more efficient and more legible in comparison with the rest of the serif fonts in the web environment. Poly was originally conceived to write texts with words of excessive length that need a very close letter spacing; its goal was to create a typeface to be used when tracking is tight, thus increasing the amount of letters per line.

Poly is a Unicode typeface family with Open Type attributes which has been developed for the purpose of representing languages that use Latin script or its derivatives such as Native South American languages.
