Kotta One Font

Kotta One is a new typeface for text that combines features of an italic and at the same time is easily readable like a roman. Kotta employs a genuine calligraphic design where the structure of the letters is derived from actual italic script and not just a mechanical slanting of the letters.

As with renaissance types it is an unattached script not a second for a roman. Kotta One is also a new style, sharp and rational, referring to the principles of American typographer Williams Addison Dwiggins and his M-Formula. It has a fairly bold appearance and clear structure with sharp vertical and horizontal strokes that make it easily readable even when used in large texts.
