Marko One Font

Marko is the name of an alphabet that has been created for children’s books. The idea of designing Marko was to develop a typeface-companion to cartoon character of Marko the Sparrow created by Zhenya Spizhovyi in his cartoon strip of children’s book illustrations under the pseudonym Zhenya.

Marko One has an inviting inner tension and attractive details, based on sketches and calligraphy to create it’s letterforms – this gives Marko it’s vibrant appeal, making people attracted to it.

Medium to large sizes are suitable for Marko’s headlines; the technical optimization is beneficial for higher screen performance and the adjusted outlines contribute to good printing results.
