Kanit can be interpreted as mathematics in Thai therefore Kanit is characterized by Loopless Thai and sans Latin type of design. With slender Humanist Sans Serif motif and curvatures typical for Capsulated Geometric types of fonts, Futuristic design is a peculiar choice for modern and sci-fi environments. One which would stand out is the stroke terminals with flat angles it has which enables one to write closely, tightly and still be easily recognizable shrink smaller sizes, points.
However, Thai typeface designs contain less of the loops in post forms and thus, any simplification has to be done in a manner that retains the characteristic features of the letters contained therein. Another important factor which should also be taken into consideration when designing typeface for Thaï language texts are the sizes and positions of vowels, tone marks and the pretty harsh and scratchy texture of these characters.
