Inspired by traditional Old English letterforms, the Crownspire is a modern font that is mainly used as display font. It was designed by Eko Kurniawan and comes with high-contrast strokes, elongated edges and goemetric shaped. The font gives a strong medieval or Gothic vibe, and is usually used in covers for heavy metal music albums, street wear or active wear, apparel branding, tattoo letterings, and street art.
The most unique feature of the Crownspire font are the sharp and pointed silhouettes of the letters that resemble arches from gothic cathedrals and stone spires. While other medieval and gothic fonts have dense letters, this font is more legible and easier to use.
