The Belonid is a classic serif display typeface with a very refined, very timeless feel. It’s very much inspired by the typography of old books and has that old world charm. The letters are very well formed with a gentle contrast in stroke weight, flared serifs and a lot of softness in the curves.
It’s a very sophisticated, very storybook typeface. The Belonid offers alternative characters with sweeping swash tails, curled terminals and small star accents. They’re ideal for creating all sorts of titles, monograms and logos with a bit of a decorative touch.
The Belonid is ideal for book covers, editorial and magazine layout work, museum and heritage projects, wedding invitations, luxury branding, packaging, fashion and beauty brands, posters, social media graphics and pretty much any project that requires a classic, romantic feel.
