Lovelace by Zetafonts is an updated revival of Renaissance hand-lettered designs inspired by a desire for less formal and more informal options in Bodonian serifs which are the 19th century old style typography.
Pheimester or Alexander Kay are the authors of some our most favorite letters; with their calligraphic curves and heavy serifs which remind us of Goudy and Benguiat typefaces from 70s. Additionally, we wanted to draw inspiration from them for creating more elegant and striking looks using another style revived during the 19th century: Elzevir.
This digital memorial of the Victorian typography, which is appropriately named after Lord Byron’s daughter who was an algorithmist, consists of two sizes of optical font and six weight options from extralight to exabold.
This is the demo version, only 2 styles.
