Source Code Pro Font Family

Source Code Pro has been created by Paul D. Hunt as an alternative of Source Sans. The family of glyphs was modified from Source Sans. Source design because of the request for one that was monospaced for use in software for coding. Source Code Pro preserves the appearance features and proportions vertical that are present in Source Sans, but alters the widths of glyphs so they are consistent across all glyphs and sizes.

While this family was created specifically for use in coding environments and for which a normal weight is usually sufficient, Source Code Pro has been released with similar weights that is available in the Source Sans design. Source Code Pro currently supports an array of languages that use the Latin script and also includes all characters from the Adobe Latin 4 glyph set.
