Allust is an italic font that was designed as an italicized version of older serif like Caslon and Garamond and what I know of italics. I started designing this font in 2016 with the intention of designing an upright italic font which has some characteristics of calligraphy font while avoiding the use of connectors; my perfectionism forced me to delay the design of this font.
