Halcyon Font was designed over an intensive four year process of design. Drawing inspiration from classic typefaces like Futura, Gill Sans and ITC Avant Garde, it blends geometric form with humanistic qualities in an unconventional subclassification we refer to as post-geometric. Halcyon Sans is everything you’d expect from modern sans-serif fonts but with added personality!
As we needed a standard and usable sans, everyone is searching for it; but the world doesn’t necessarily require another soulless Grotesk font. So we designed something more approachable reminiscent of Friends characters like Chandler Bing.
