Shallot is a serif typeface family with sharp and elegant characteristics. Initialized letterforms do not entirely rely on calligraphic strokes, making Shallot more similar to transitional serif styles than others.
Letterforms featured high contrast strokes with sharp serifs that feature curving brackets. Upright styles feature a broad proportion, while italic styles boast 12 degrees angle with letters redrawn in lowercase font.
Shallot features four styles spanning regular to extrabold italic, all using 462 glyphs that can support Latin languages of all kinds.
