Martel is an open source font development project. Developed by Jonas Offerson at the University of Reading, Department of Typography & Graphic Communication in 2008, the first weights of the font family (Martel UltraLight, Light, Regular, DemiBold, Bold, ExtraBold and Heavy) were released in 2014.
The Devanagari glyphs developed to date are all credited to Dan Reynolds while the Latin glyphs are from the Merriweather fonts.
