Abril Fatface Font

Abril Fatface is a member of the larger type family Abril, which is composed of 18 styles for both Display and Text applications. The titling weights are a modern interpretation of traditional Didone styles, appear both as utilitarian and bold to capture the readers’ attention with a certain degree of tension conveyed by curves and good color and high contrast.

In particular, Abril Fatface reflects the heavy titling fonts of the advertising posters in Britain and France in the nineteenth century. The thin serifs and clean curves make the typeface look classy and provides any headline with a certain air of sophistication. Extended Latin character set that is available for use supports more than 50 languages such as those from the central and northern regions of Europe.
