Arapey (Ah-ra-pay) is a modern typeface of the contemporary style; it has some elements of Bodoni, but the structures, soft lines, and finishes give a calm and stylish impression. The first drawings were done during a holiday in Arapey, which is a village in the northern region of Uruguay. The italics are subtle, melodic and introduce a certain glamour to the use of texts as well as titles.
