Mattel Inc, an American company in the business of making toys developed Barbie by Ruth Handler and unveiled the first Barbie at the American International Toy Fair in New York City on the 9th of March 1959. The most famous of all Mattel’s Barbie toys was the Totally Hair Barbie of 1992 with hair all over her body!
The current Barbie trademark is a cursive font that looks hand done, however any font could work for this logo. Its predecessor (used from 1991-1999) was however quite similar and looks quite similar to Barbie Medium.
