CA Spotnik Font is an abstract geometric Sans Serif with a retro feel and various typographic styles in its design. However, its unusual look felt completely at home in any context, so we took screenshots and started drawing more letters to capture its charm. What we came up with was a grungy typeface with subtle contrast proportions; its width is wide while x-height is tall.
Heavy objects result in larger letters. If curly “S”s bother you, standard ones are included as an alternative solution. Overall, however, the font that could be described as “nerdy yet welcoming” doesn’t depend on any single component; rather it embodies all details that were considered when creating it.
