Cabin Font Family

Cabin font family has slightly rounded corners, clean lines, and geometric feel and thus has modern look. Inventing this typeface, clear references were made to Edward Johnston’s and Eric Gill’s typefaces with a touch of modernism the typeface is a humanist sans-serif. It is fully characterized by four weights and precise italics which recall their prototypes in terms of characters, but offer contemporary proportions, optical adjustments, some ideas borrowed from geometry sans sans as well as the features of modernism.

To some extend, Cabin remains close to the original while presenting change; Cabin provides 99% monotone weight distribution; bottom and top curves are thin; while changing letter b, G p Q, processors are made an optically; the E and F center arms curve at an angle of 10 °; M arms are splashed.
