Comic Jens Font Family

Some time in 2008 I engaged in what can be described as writing my ‘handwriting’ on or over my computer or laptop using the mouse for fun with an intention to convert them into typefaces. An article in the Fontblog regarding Comic Sans was responsible for my typeface being released as Comic Jens, subsequently Jurgen Siebert published a comprehensive report about which there is much discussion titled Neue Alternative zur Comic Sans – 1400 people downloaded my typeface in the first thirty days!

Both the fundamental idea and subsidiary developments contributing to fonts being available under Creative Commons-by-nd license can be freely distributed – for sharing or brought into use into any, even commercial, projects.

It also has its own home page … Besides, communication with Comedy Jens is possible not only in the Framework of stand-up shows.
