Enriqueta Font

Enriqueta is a serif typeface that was conceived to fulfill the technological requirements of silkscreen printing. This makes it an ideal candidate for digital display applications too as they are constructed in the grids which are known as pixels.

It is a slab serif type that has clear, straightforward, and rather unobtrusive features, which were intended to create a hybrid that borrows some of the heft and dense serifs from Egyptian style and the proportions and slightly humanistic feel of the Roman fonts, yielding a harmonious and highly readable typeface for texts.

Enriqueta was chosen exhibit at Tipos Latinos 2010, fourth Latin-american tipography biennial and to be included in the German editorial project Typodarium 2012.
