Fontanella was designed by Coto Mendoza as a sans serif font and resulted from calligraphy and drawing manual studies which investigated Roman capital letters’ classical ratios and skeleton. From these initial efforts came an 8 peso family sans serif font, along with its italic variations.
Also included are smaller caps as well as older numbers and width variations within its alternates set. With its slightly increased width, it makes this font perfect for writing short articles for editorial, fashion magazines, branding television window display graphics or any other media-related projects.
