IBM Plex Serif Font Family

IBM Plex is the official typeface of the international business machines corporation known as IBM and it is an open source design effort by the IBM Brand & Experience created in BX&D. Plex is an international typeface family established to commence the exploration of IBM’s brand science and chronicle as well as the symbiosis between man and machine-the major theme at IBM from the beginning of the new millennium.

In this case it has been achieved through development of the Grotesque style typeface that is neutral in designing aspects but friendly and technically the typeface has an IBM detail engineering feel in the Plex category. The typeface comes in a normal Sans family, Sans Condensed family, Mono family, and Serif family and is highly legible in print, web, and the tiny screens of mobile devices.
