Noticia Text is a modern typeface that is best suited for reading text on online newspapers or any other digital platforms whether on websites or on any application. It has a great height of x, thick measure, big serifs and big openings to ensure the letters are legible small sizes on low resolution screens. The capitals are designed to be smaller than standard caps and can therefore be used as small caps. If used in this manner, it is suggested to add a bit of tracking.

One major feature is the fact that round characters experience a break in their internal curves. Although this break produces some interesting forms at large sizes, they are designed to serve the need of helping to make the counterforms more open at small sizes by enabling straighter stems. This reasoning is famously known as W. A. Dwiggins ‘M-formula’. ”

The italics were intended to be used opposite to the roman styles and were still quite easily readable. The true italics also have large counterforms and straightforward curves.
