Rakkas Font

Created by Roemon, Rakkas is a modern geometric sans-serif display typeface designed to integrate Latin and Arabic alphabets thereby providing users with one all-purpose font alongside other benefits. While the first script meets the assembled tag line, the second script shares a common style with it, but does not dwell upon the assumption of being one of a kind; each carries its own appeal.

Arabic typeface is based on Egyptian movies posters of the fifties to sixties that uses Ruqah script with variant styles obtained from a contextual style resembling calligraphy, It can have style with separated letters and aligned position in the cascade, Latin style is informal black lettering that provide users with more fun options.

Rakkas is a type design project led by Zeynep Akay, a successful and renowned type and graphic designer based in London, United Kingdom.
