Regave is an innovative, modern sans-serif style of typeface. It’s sharp, clear and boasts bold, energetic letter forms, yet with a solid backbone. A typeface influenced by Danish style lettering, derived from designs by Knud Van Engelhardt (1882-1931) who created the street signs used in Gentofte, a Copenhagen area of Gentofte.
It’s style was based off the letters that was used by two Danish architects in the era: Thorvald Bindesboll (designer of the Carlsberg logo) and Anton Rosen. The signs were so effective that they’re still used to this day.
