Source Serif Pro Font Family

Source Serif Pro is the transition type of font that is developed to match with the Resource Sans. This can be done by giving proper consideration while deciding on the ratios of the letters and the typographic color; in spite of the fact that both the fonts were designed to contain similarities. While Source Serif, as it is stated above, shares similar design tendencies with Source Sans, its existence tends to go its separate way because of various historical factors influencing.

Source Serif Pro is driven from Fournier and many of his peculiarities of design are reflected in the book; for example, the serif that resembles the b, and the central serif on the letter W are also present in the book. While Resource Serif is not an attempt to mimic historic Fournier products exactly, Resource Serif usually adapts some aspect of a Fournier product to today’s use.
