Violant lettering is a tribute to Queen Violant wife of Jaume 1st, king of Aragon, who was a strong woman that assisted her husband in the conquest of Valencia in 1238. Possibly, Violant read texts in gothic letters, which at that time were object to stylisation in Castile and Aragon.
