Average is calculated after a thorough research on various kinds of text fonts belonging to the historical periods and the modern world. The concept behind Average was to create a proper font to use in texts, by applying a set of measurement of the figures’ measurements and information gathering sheets in order to establish values that the designers could use when drawing shapes with proper dimensions, colors, intervals and other characteristics – these values then enabled designers to choose proper values in order to create Standard Common typeface types.
