Extended Display Font was created by Francesco Canovaro, in collaboration with Andrea Tartarelli and Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini for the purpose of giving the designers a powerful tool that is versatile enough to create headlines and logos or display text that has closely spaced letters and requires the maximum space coverage.
Unlike the weight options that are provided to users in order to select from, Extended Display Font offers users with specific ranges of widths that offer users more control over the actual content of the editorial matter as well as the proportional variations which are dependent on the size of logo making it consistently visible and easily accessible to users.
