Mukta Font Family

Mukta is a new generation Unicode typeface designed in a humanist monotone style which is available in seven styles and is versatile, modern and supports the Devanagari, Gujarati, Gurumukhi Tamil and Latin scripts. As a part of its free-licensed multiscript project family members which Mukta belongs to, its goal is to create one typeface family which looks good for every script of India without prioritizing one script over another visually so that the fonts can be used both for multiscript as well as single script requirements. This makes the fonts effective tools!

Mukta was launched by Girish Dalvi and Yashodeep Gholap. While Mukta Vaani was initiated by Noopur Datta and Pallavi Karambelkar and with the support of Sarang Kulkarni and Maithili Shingre; Aadarsh Rajan developed Mukta Malar ; and Shuchita Grover and Noopur Datye developed Mukta Mahee for the launch.
